Charles David Neal

Charles David Neal, age 32 of Chesterfield, MI passed away on May 26, 2023. Charles was born on August 13, 1990 in Warren, MI. Adored son of Nanette Neal. Loving brother of Star Neal, and Jennifer and Kristie Coman. Cherished by his nieces & nephews, Austin, Kole, Tyler, Isaiah, Isabella, Daniel, Hattie, Zaylee. He is survived by his Aunts & Uncles, especially his Aunt Teresa Marks & Aunt Anita Zandarski whom he loved dearly and shared a special relationship with; all his cousins who shared special times with him including Scott Marks, Evan Baize & Dakota Keevil; as well as many of his loving friends who he shared a special bond with including Jessi Frederick (Rick), Robert Burke, Teresa Burke (mom), Steven (Ivo), Albert Valenza, Will Wright, Brandon Watson, Cody Martos, Craig Sova, as well as Jessica and Dale Rossmann; his first love Kassi Kerr, and special friend Michelle Thomason. Preceded in death by his cherished grandma Joan C. William & loving second Mom Kim Vettraino, and biological parents Charles Keevil & Rebecca Coman. Chuck loved to snowboard and make big mounds of snow in the winter. He loved to skateboard, ride his bike, go fishing, play his gaming stations, listen to music, and listen to Joe Rogan’s podcast. He also loved watching Michigan Wolverine football games, cooking—he always loved to cook for his mom, Nanette, & when he wasn’t living at home, he would send her photos of the meals he prepared. Chuck loved making a bonfire & loved the fall. Chuck enjoyed cooking for others which came later in life, but he was a natural when it came to making a delicious mean for those he loves. His favorite color was red. He used to always leave little notes that I was the BEST MOM. (I will miss those). He was the kind of man who would help a homeless person without hesitation—rather he gave food, beverages, money, or cigarettes. But most of all, he loved spending time with loved ones—his family & friends. He traveled with his grandma, sister & mom on many adventures throughout the Unites States. His best trip he said was the Disney Cruise they went on at Christmas time. The last vacation we all took with his sister & Mom was to New Orleans after his grandma passed away. His beloved dog Druppie passed away in 2018. In 2019 we got Macie; she just loved Chuck and would follow her everywhere throughout the house. Macie would be so excited when Chuck came in the back door, and now she waits for him or crawls up the stairs looking for him, so sad. His other dogs he was able to spoil were Tank & Princess Daisy & Mac. His most recent jobs were working for Dish Network, Goodman, Comcast, TCSI & C & J. He was a cable, internet installer. But his greatest love was climbing the towers, he loved being up there so high swinging in the free air, it was his dream job he was so proud of it. He could travel the United States and view so many things in so many states. He loved traveling, but always missed home. His accomplishments were working for Burger King & Taco Bell to earn money for things he liked when he was younger. He graduated from Lanse Creuse High School North in 2009 and was so proud of that diploma. He was a great worker where ever he worked. He took great pride in his jobs. He loved working around the yard and helping his mom. He had a true love for his friends and would be there for them always with a smile, that’s how he got his name when he was younger (CHUCKLES). He was still called that today at his most recent jobs because he was always happy and smiling. He also went by CHUCK & CHUCKIE. Chuck enjoyed helping when the opportunity arose, whether it be his mom with the man of the house duties, his friends with moving, home renovations, or other tasks to make the job easier and filled with his contagious uplifting spirit. I know my brother would hate to see us crying for him. He would want us to cling to the beautiful memories and forgive ourselves for whatever regrets we have. He would like us to be strong through the darkest days ahead. That is what he always does – he gives light and strength when it seems impossible to go on. I can never deny the pain that I carry, but I would like us to remember him as a blessing and a lesson. I want to treasure the life he shared with us over the pain that his death has brought us. The angelic heart he had was always finding his purpose of crossing paths with those he felt the desire to shine some hope into the love of those in need. Chuck would share the music he loved with Star his baby sister, and Chuck held good on Rebecca’s (his birth mom) one wish for Chuckie to protect and look over his littler sister Star. Rest in eternal peace dear brother. You will live on forever in our hearts. Written by loving mother and sister of Chuck Neal. The legacy of Chuck will be remembered and cherished forever. Visitation for Charles will be from 2-8pm with 7 pm funeral services on Friday June 9, 2023 at the Wasik Funeral Home-Gendernalk Chapel located at 35259 23 mile road in New Baltimore.
