Betty Marion Klett

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Marion Klett, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on Thursday, April 12, 1928, Betty was a beacon of resilience and positivity throughout her life. A proud and courageous 75-year cancer survivor, she dedicated six years of her life to running the "Relay for Life" at Seven Springs in New Port Richey, FL, inspiring countless others with her strength and determination. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Reginald Ross Willison and Gabrielle Willison; her beloved husbands, Norman C. Bartlett in 1984 and Fredrick G. Klett in 2018; her son, Michael Danny Bartlett in 2009; her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth "Ellie" Lee Bartlett in 2017; and her dear sisters, Margaret Claeys, Lois Ledbetter, and Barbara Lamond. She is survived by her loving daughter, Beverly Bartlett, and her cherished grandsons, Michael (Lisa) Bartlett, Gary (Krista) Bartlett, and Kevin (Stacie) Bartlett. Betty leaves a legacy of love and warmth to her great-grandchildren, Hannah Christine, Bradley Michael, Justin Michael, Jonathon Daniel, Paige Elizabeth, and Reese Ann, who brought immense joy to her long and fulfilling life. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Wasik Funeral Home in Shelby Township, MI, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating Betty's remarkable life will commence immediately after at 1:00 pm at the same location. In honor of Betty's enduring spirit and her commitment to those in need, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Custom Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wasik Funeral Home-Shelby Township. Betty Marion Klett will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of her loved ones. May she rest in peace, surrounded by eternal love and light.
