Walter "Buddy" Wisniewski

October 6, 1943 - April 13, 2022

Walter "Buddy" Wisniewski, of Warren, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 78. He was born October 6, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Walter A. and Jean Wisniewski. Beloved husband of Marsha. Loving father of the late Lila and the late Michael. Dearest brother of Sandy (the late Stanley) Guzdial, Janis (the late Ted) Swack and Terry Wisniewski. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Walter worked for 37 years at Sears and made many friends. He belonged to the Eastside "A"'s, working on Model A cars from Ford. He was also a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed building things, helping others and was very generous with his time doing "handyman" jobs for Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers. His passion was his current car, a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible that he loved to drive. Visitation Wednesday 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (West of Hoover) Warren. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, 2500 12 Mile Road (between Ryan and Dequindre) Warren. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
