Walter John Hardiewich

April 17, 1957 - April 15, 2021

Walter John Hardiewich was born to the late Walter and Anne Hardiewich in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He entered eternal life, peacefully on the evening of Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan at the age of 63. Walt leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years Nina and daughter, Tessa Hardiewich-Smith (Randy). He will also be missed by his sisters Brenda Murray (Tom Ineson) and the late Carol Evans, his dear nephew Stewart Bale (Shelbey), his brothers-in-law: Eric Carver (Virginia), Mark Carver, William Carver (Deborah), and sisters-in-law: Holly Pezalski (Stephen) and Tara Goci (Allen). After many successful years in pharmaceutical sales, Walt went on to pursue his passion for remodeling and renovation of homes. Walt was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree. He was devoted to his Church, where he was a cantor and his incredible voice graced many masses and special occasions. He served as President of the Parish Council, organized the annual church picnic, taught religious education and was an Eucharist Minister. His contributions were recognized by the church as they were voted “Family of the Year”. On Wednesday, April 21, 2021 we will celebrate his life beginning with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. with a Memorial Mass following at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 54045 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township, MI.
