Thomas Donald Skowronski, of Warren, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 27, 2020, at the age of 78. He was born November 2, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles and Helen Skowronski. Beloved and dedicated husband of Mary Ann for 55 years. Loving father of Charles (Karen), Lisa (David) Elston and Matthew (Kimberly). Dearest grandfather “Dzadzia” of Haley, Andrew, Gillian, Christian, Jack and Lily. He was also very well loved by his granddogs Cricket, Sable and Oliver. Thomas loved golfing, having coffee with his buddies and driving around his condo complex in his golf cart. But most of all, he relished spending time with his grandchildren. Whether it was a sporting event, dance recital or art fair, “Dzadzia” truly cherished these moments. Thomas was the second-generation owner of the famous Polish Kitchen at the Michigan State Fair. This annual event was where he worked and gave his heart and soul with all his family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Thomas will be held at a later date.
