Thomas J. Demick, age 98, a lifelong resident of New Baltimore, passed away on September 16, 2021. Thomas was born on November 11, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Loretta (Theisen) Demick. Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Creation Church and the V.F.W. Post 7573. Thomas enjoyed riding bikes and motorcycles and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia. Loving father of Richard (Kathy), James (Laurie), Louis (Bev), William (Stacey) and Lorraine (Lawrence) LeRay. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Joseph (Doreen) Demick. Dear brother-in-law of Julian Claus, Barbara Demick, Judy Demick and Virginia Demick. Thomas was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Loretta Demick, Margaret Wayne, Theresa (Marion) Kret, Irene Claus, Francis Demick, James Demick, David Demick, Leo Demick and Louis Demick. Visitation 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. Instate at 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore. Memorials may be made to Residential Care Hospice.
