Simon Barrett passed away at the age of 36, on January 4, 2021, at his residence. He was born on June 12, 1984 in Port Huron. Loving dad of Logan and Connor Barrett. Special friend of Krystal Barrett. Beloved son of Judith Annoni. Dear brother of Shanna (Michael) Astor. Dear uncle of Anastasia and Helena Astor. Simon enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his boys. He always said that being their daddy was his biggest accomplishment. He loved taking them for walks by the creek, searching for four leaf clovers (which he was always able to find), going to the park to play and on car rides to play Pokémon Go together. He also enjoyed fishing, watching YouTube videos and watching cooking videos to come up with new things to try making. He was a big fan of watching comedy. Simon was a huge trivia fan and could recall some of the most bizarre facts. Simon liked going by the nickname Slimer and stars and the skull & cross bones were his favorite symbols. He always had a Monster energy drink in hand and was never without his favorite hat. Simon will be missed terribly by all of his friends and family but will live on through his boys. There will be a celebration of Simon’s life later.
