Shirley Ann Mallet

January 4, 1935 - November 28, 2020

Shirley Ann Mallet, of Warren, passed away November 28, 2020 at the age of 85. She was born January 4, 1935 to Thomas and Clara Pollack. Shirley was born in Detroit and graduated from Dominican High School. She met the love of her life while working at Chrysler and was married to Harry for 64 years. Shirley dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was very active in her childrens' school activities and outings. She was an avid bike rider and enjoyed vacationing in northern Michigan as well as bingo, Girl Scouts, making kielbasa and painting ceramics. She had a fun-loving spirit, loved to laugh and enjoyed doing volunteer work at Bon Secours Hospital. She also had a giant heart for animals, including her beloved dogs, "Sing" the parakeet and other adopted neighborhood animals that she loved to feed. She will truly be missed by her family. Beloved wife of Harold. Dear mother of Sharon Limback (the late Keith), Gary Mallet (the late Patty) and Barb Sparks (Brian). Loving grandmother of Clara Kennard (Adam), Ellen Baker (Brad), Julie Limback, Timothy Mallet and Jessica Mallet. Precious great grandmother of Grayson and Aspen Baker. Dear sister of Jack Pollack (Terry). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Pollack; mother, Clara and step father, Alex spring; siblings, Leonard, Arthur, Florence, Thomas and Robert. Visitation Tuesday 3-7 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. The funeral Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations addressed to The Capuchins are preferred.
