Sally Jean Prior

Sally Jean (Zacharias) Prior of New Baltimore passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was born on July 5, 1935 to Stanley and Hedwig Zacharias in Port Huron, Michigan. Sally retired from St. Peters Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens and was a faithful member of St. Mary Queen of Creation Church in New Baltimore. She was a caring and generous person who loved sewing, playing games, garage sales, traveling and cooking. She was best known for her delicious apple pie, loved by all who tried it. Sally is survived by her children Dan (Donna), Tom (Amy), Cindy Anselmino (Renato), Jackie Lepore (Anthony) and Laury Motloch (Mike). She had 13 grandchildren and was Gigi to 7 great-grandchildren, with 3 more on the way. She was the beloved sister of Helen Wrona, Lorraine Garvey, Betty Devereaux and John Zacharias. She was the companion of Bill Rankin. Visitation 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259-23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. Instate at 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of Sally's favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Vincent DePaul.
