Robert W. Schy, of Warren, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the age of 85. He was born May 10, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edward and Sally Schypinski. Robert enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gardening. He also had a passion for Notre Dame football and travelling. Beloved husband of Patricia. Dearest father of Katherine (Greg) Baranski, David, Daniel (Shelley), Janet Newman, Linda (Chris) Papcun and the late Susan Ruth. Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 2. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (West of Hoover) Warren. Instate Monday 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 Twelve Mile (East of Schoenherr) Warren. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp., MI. *In accordance with local mandate, masks or face coverings are required in the building and we are limited to a maximum of 25 persons in the building at one time, so you may be asked to wait to pay your respects.
