Rita Carol Engleman

Rita Carol Engleman ~ 78, from Shelby Township MI, passed away on November 8, 2021. Daughter of the beloved late Delmar and Ann Engleman. Former Spouse of the beloved late Paul Sikorski for 29 years. Loving Mother to her identical twin daughters Melissa (Steven) Mason and Kimberly Sikorski. Granddaughters: McKenna Mason and Morgan Mason. Sister: Sharon Meyer, Brother: Roger (ReeAnn) Engleman. Nieces and Nephews: Kevin Meyer, Joy Meyer, Shanna (Jason) Ronning, Eric Engleman, Allysa (Danny) Byrd, Christine (Craig) Emery, Christopher Sikorski (Rita's Godson), Jason (Kathreen) Thomas and Amy Thomas. Rita was born in 1943 and grew up in Warren, MI. Graduated from East Detroit High School in 1962, and graduated Cosmetology School in 1963. She also earned her Instructors Degree and became a Platform Artist and Color Specialist for L'Oréal in 1964. Rita had a very fulfilling career in Troy, MI eventually moving on to being a successful Salon Owner herself in Rochester Hills, MI for over 20 years, with lifelong clients (friends) of 60 years. Besides Rita's passion for the beauty industry she also loved bowling, boating, being at the lake, Key West, FL and traveling. Rita also loved making wedding cakes, planning weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties and especially loved decorating for Christmas, her favorite time of year. Any event Rita was always up for the challenge of taking care of everything to perfection for her family and friends. Rita will always be remembered, loved and missed dearly. Until we meet again. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
