Ralph James Nowakowski

Ralph James Nowakowski, of Roseville, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at the age of 80. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 4, 1941 to the late Leonard and Virginia Nowakowski. Loving and devoted companion of Nelly Isla. Dearest brother of Richard Novak, Rosemary (the late Robert) Barello, Raymond (the late Kathleen) Nowakowski, Ruth (Bill) Macker, and brother-in-law of Faith Morgan. Beloved uncle of Eric (Jessica) Novak, Natalie (fiancé Owen Lang) Novak, Becca (Tim) Kelly, Brian Nowakowski, Jeremy Macker, Nicholas (Ann) Macker, Andrew (Traci) Macker, and great uncle of Nick, Frannie, and Max Novak; Lorelai and Pearson Kelly; Emme and Jacqui Macker; Sam Macker; and Theodora "Teddy" Macker. Ralph is remembered as loving life in any way, shape, or form. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and photography in his free time, as well as listening to all types of music. Ralph was an incredibly grateful man who took nothing for granted and was always looking for the positive in life; and though his passing saddens us, we can undoubtedly take some solace knowing how big his smile was when he saw his beloved feline companion Erling waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. Visitation Monday 10 a.m. until a 1 p.m. funeral service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (West of Hoover) Warren. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
