James W. Ellis, born August 17, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on May 16, 2022 in Macomb Twp. Michigan at the age of 90. Many years ago, Jim worked for Uniroyal Tire Company and due to his hard work and efforts, he eventually made a career in the Mortuary Removal business as the original owner and operator of the Ellis Removal Service. Loving husband of Wilma and dear father of Patricia Ann (Glenn) Drogosch, Jenny Carol Ellis and the late Deborah Kay Ellis. Dear grandfather of Glenn (Debbie) Drogosch, Michelle (Lincoln) Pomerleau, Shannon (Jason) Hamel, Candace Ellison and great-grandfather of Michael and Eva. Dear brother of John, Bob and Fran. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (N. of 22 Mile Rd.) Shelby Twp. Funeral service Friday 11 am at the Funeral Home with a procession to White Chapel Cemetery (Troy, Michigan) for entombment services.
