Harold "Cal" Pritchard

June 15, 1926 - February 24, 2022

Harold (Cal) Pritchard, age 95, passed peacefully into eternal rest on February 24, 2022, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Dolores (nee Kraemer) Pritchard. He is survived by his children, Steve (Cathy) Pritchard and Barb (Rick) Campbell. Proud grandfather of Amy (Ken) Vavruska, Becky (Joe) Hodur, Michael Campbell and Patrick (Amy) Campbell. Cherished great-grandfather of Allison and Alaina Vavruska, Joey, Kate and Dave Hodur and Audrey and Olivia Campbell. Survived by his dear brother Jerry (Denise) McCarty and sister Sharon Clark. He leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Cal was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 15, 1926 to the late Harold Sr and Doris (Willock) Pritchard. He was a proud veteran of World War II, having served in the US Navy. Cal worked as a Senior Buyer for General Electric for 36 years. Upon retirement Cal and Dee spent much of their time near Houghton Lake at their cabin they built hosting many family gatherings. They traveled extensively around the world and loved cruises. He was a great friend and family man, loved by all. He will be missed. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 11, 2022 at St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude's Children Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
