Catharine E. Neff, age 88 of Chesterfield, passed away on May 16, 2021. Catharine was born on February 27, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. On September 12, 1953, Catharine married Ernest Billy Neff. Ernest passed away on July 14, 2009. Catharine was the co-owner of Neff's Lounge in Detroit. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Algonac. Catharine enjoyed traveling, going to the cottage and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Billy Neff. Loving mother of Carol (Jeffrey) Dewitte, the late Paul and the late Ken. Dear grandmother of Chelsea, Jeffrey, Collin and Melanie and great-grandmother of Mackenzie and Madison. Dear sister of Lenore Anderson and the late Larry Zabel. Visitation 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. Instate at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1625 Washington Street, Algonac. Memorials may be made to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
