Bernardine T. Osinski

March 4, 1931 - February 16, 2022

Bernardine Osinski passed away on February 16, 2022 at her home in Macomb Township, Michigan. She was born in Detroit on March 4, 1931 in Detroit to Casimir and Josephine (nee Ostrowski) Zalewski. Bernardine was a very dedicated Registered Nurse having attained her diploma in Nursing from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Hamtramck, Michigan and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. She is the beloved wife of the late Stephen F. Loving mother of Stephen G. (Joseph Lempicki), Matthew (Monica), Anne (Thomas) Bielman, Mark (Laura) and Michael. Very proud grandmother of Andrew, Nicholas (Kaitlyn), Hannah and Olivia. Dearest sister of Patricia (the late Theodore) Gret, Casimir (Frances) Zalewski, the late Rita Zalewski and Geraldine Zalewski. Predeceased by her loving parents Casimir and Josephine. Bernardine will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews and extended family members. Bernardine retired as a Registered Nurse, the love and care that she showed to her patients was an amazing testament to her skill as a nurse, but her main focus was on her family and those that she loved. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM with a 4 PM and 7 PM Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayer Service and Tuesday 1-8 PM with a 3 PM and 7 PM Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayer Service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 22 Mile Rd.) Shelby Twp. Instate Wednesday 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM Mass of Resurrection at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd. (corner of Canal) Clinton Township. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
