Beatrice Josephine Guralczyk

June 15, 1927 - March 5, 2022

Beatrice J. Guralczyk passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at The Brook of West Branch, at the age of 94. She was born to Anthony and Elizabeth Okon on June 15, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan. Beatrice worked for J.C. Penny for over 25 years as a payroll clerk. She was a longtime resident of Warren, until her health started to decline and she move with family to West Branch. She was a very private person and mostly liked to keep to herself. Her favorite past-time was shopping. She enjoyed to shop and was very good at it also. Beatrice had many struggles throughout her life. After losing her husband, Walter at the age of 58, she took on the roll as caregiver. For many years she took care of her mother. After the death of her mother she took care of and assisted in the care of other family members. Although Beatrice and Walter did not have any children of their own, her nieces and nephews and their children made sure she was included in all the family events, well cared for and looked after and loved by all of them. Beloved wife of the late Walter. Dear sister of Dolores (the late Anthony) Bojda, the late Melvin (the late Delores) Okon and the late Rosalie (the late Richard) Santowski. Loving aunt of Phil (Dawn) Bojda, Janet (Larry) LeBlanc, Ann Marie (Tom) Kreft, Sue (Joe) Pococke, David (Barb) Santowski, Mike (Gay) Okon, Dave (Patti) Okon, Ron (Vicky) Okon, Jerry Okon, and the late Gerry (Mary) Bojda. She is also survived by many loving great nieces and great nephews. Instate Friday 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 Twelve Mile Road (between Schoenherr and Hayes) Warren. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
