Antoinette Rose Barone

May 30, 1953 - June 11, 2021

Antoinette Rose Barone, age 68, of Fair Haven, Michigan passed away on June 11, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. She was born to the late Leonard and Marcella (Duncanson) Cichoracki on May 30, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan. Antoinette received her Registered Nurse degree in 1973 from the Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wayne State University in 1984. Antoinette worked as a nurse for 40 years; she took pride in her time working in maternal and infant health where she served as a strong advocate for mothers and their children. She enjoyed time with friends and family, shopping for bargains, travel, music (especially Motown and classic rock), and good food. Her determination, sense of humor, strength, and love will be missed by all. Antoinette was the beloved wife of 41 years of Charles J. Barone II. She was a loving and proud mother to Amanda (Jeffrey) Pritchard and Charles L. Barone. Antoinette was overjoyed by the recent birth of her granddaughter Lyla Jane Pritchard. She was a dear sister to Mary (George) Nagy and the late Raymond Cichoracki, dear daughter-in-law to Nancy Fisher, and a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
