William L Brusokas , age 88, passed away peacefully on April 04, 2026 with the love of his family by his side. He was born October 27, 1937, in Detroit Michigan, a Husband of the late Roselene Brusokas , son of the late Leonard and Virginia Brusokas, Brother of the late Ronald Brusokas , son - in -law of the late Carmen and Lena Rossi, grandfather of the late Gage Brusokas, father - in -law of the late Jenn Brusokas. His death proceeds his six children and their spouses. Dawnn and Vance Ferguson, Randy Brusokas, Lisa and Kevin Lambert, Lana and Rich Hastings, Laura and Tony Burgi, Brian and Sarah Brusokas. His fifteen grandchildren and their significants. Samantha Ferguson , Jake Brusokas, Randi Brusokas , Kevin Jr Lambert ( Jessica) , Jesse Lambert ( Sarah), Casey Lambert ( Courtney ), Max Lambert ( Alley), Devin Blackburn ( Robert ), Gabriella Hastings, Grace Burgi, Alena Burgi, Brianna Brusokas, Izzy Brusokas, Brodie Brusokas. His nine great grandchildren. Patrick ,Damion, Hudson, Palmer, Essen, Ellison, Eleira, Aliyah, Adeline. William, affectionately known as Bill or Billy B was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He lived a rich life with passion, talent, and deep love for family. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, and the countless memories he created with those closest to him. Bill loved many sports activities , his favorite being bowling and golf. He was an accomplished bowler, one of the proudest highlights was achieving a perfect 300 game. He wore his ring with pride. In the early days, he participated in “Beat the Champ”, and competed in numerous tournaments alongside close friends who eventually became like family. He also found great joy on the golf course, playing at courses across the United States, always appreciating both the game and the camaraderie it brought. He had a passion for precision and skill, which extended to shooting handguns in competitions. His sense of adventure and fascination with airplanes led him to serve in the Air National Guard at Selfridge, where he nurtured his love of aviation. A licensed pilot, Bill enjoyed flying, attending air shows, and spending time assembling model airplanes and enjoying computer flight simulators. A true lover of life’s pleasures, Bill enjoyed good books, relaxing with cocktails and cigars, and sharing laughter with friends and family. As a Career entrepreneur in the Casino Industry, his career allowed him many experiences with frequent travel to Las Vegas, and Atlantic City. Bill had a remarkable love for music and dance. A modern-day Fred Astaire, he alongside his beloved wife, effortlessly glided across dance floors with their ballroom and disco style of dance, often becoming the highlight of the evening. He also, played and taught the accordion and brought joy to those who shared in the love of music. Above all, Bill cherished his family. He deeply loved his children, grandchildren, and his beloved wife. After the loss of his wife, his faith and family became his guiding lights. He found comfort in attending Sunday Mass and treasured time spent with cousins over coffee in the rec room. Even as he faced the challenges of dementia later in life, his love for family never faded. He took great pride in attending his grandchildren’s concerts and sporting events, always showing his unwavering support. He delighted in sharing meals with loved ones—especially at cherished gatherings like Polenta parties—and found happiness simply in being surrounded by his growing family. Bill Brusokas leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and joyful living. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 3:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 22 Mile Rd), Shelby Twp. Instate Friday from 9:30 am until a 10:00 am funeral service at San Francesco Church, 22870 S. Nunnley Rd., Clinton Township, 48035.
