Theresa M. Strom

Theresa M. Strom, of Warren, passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born October 30, 1931 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Napoleon and Lea (nee Killaire) Dupuis. Theresa was a member of the Alter Society at St. David Church in Detroit and later a Eucharistic Minister at St. Clement Church in Centerline. She also really enjoyed her time that she belonged to Toastmasters. She enjoyed being an usher at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. She liked to play cards, go bowling and take a trip to the casinos when the opportunity would arise. She was know for keeping things meticulous. From everything in her house having its perfect place and always spotless, to her classic and elegant style of dress, everything about her was a class act. If you were ever to ask Theresa what she enjoyed most in life, it would definitely be spending time with her family. From doting on her grandchildren, great grandchildren or great great grandchildren to conversations with her children, every minute was precious to her. She was an amazing cook and loved when the family would come together for dinner so she could cook for them. For Theresa, her family was definitely her life! Many memories were made through the generations and her legacy will be carried on for many more to come. She is and will be loved and missed by all of them. Beloved mother of Barbara (the late Wayne) Dufault, Carol (Richard) Powers, Patricia (Christopher) Wallis and James (Christina) Strom. Loving grandma of Shelly (Michael), Brian, April, Michael (Nicole), Ryan, Brandon, Stephanie and Olivia. Precious great grandma of Gage, the late David, Michael, Chase, Andrea, Collin, Alyssa, Madalyn and great great grandma of Kaylee May, Oliver and Michael. She was predeceased by her 8 siblings, Wilfred, Lawrence, Doris, Mary, Ann, Evelyn, Bernadette and Chuckie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19 the family wishes to have a private Funeral Mass. There will be a luncheon celebrating Theresa Strom's life at a later date (in the summer) and family and friends will be notified of those plans. Thank you for your understanding during these uncertain times. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations addressed to St. Vincent de Paul or the Capuchins are preferred.
