Stafford David Van Hattum

In loving memory of Stafford David Van Hattum. Born January 22nd, 2019 in Ann Arbor Michigan. Went home to be with Jesus on March 26th, 2021 in Palo Alto, California. Stafford went home to heaven on March 26, 2021 after his two-year battle with a rare and complex congenital heart disease. Stafford went home to be with Jesus as he laid peacefully in his mother’s arms with his father by his side. Stafford loved watching Mickey Mouse, playing blocks, puzzles and eating cookie dough ice cream. Stafford always smiled and laughed, even during his struggles. He blessed us with contagious joy. Stafford spent two years making a huge impact on the lives around him and will be greatly missed by all those that loved him. Stafford was the son of proud and loving parents Christopher and Meghan Van Hattum. Great Grandson of Robert and Beverly Brooks. Grandson of Thomas and Sandra Van Hattum and Jerry and Polly Karnes. Nephew of Paul and Melissa Scenga, Scott and Mariah Covarrubias, Brandon and Cara VanNoord, Jacob and Cori Garner and Kelly Lowery. Cousin to Samantha, Daniella, Susie, Nora, Dominic, Leighton, Axel and Nola. Loving family member of Diane Scenga, the late Dan Scenga, Justin, Maria, AJ and Addy Youngblood. Funeral arrangements for Stafford Van Hattum: Public viewing on Friday, April 2nd 2021, 11:00am- 6:00pm at Faith Baptist Church 26510 Schoenherr Road Warren, MI 48089. A church service at Faith Baptist Church will be on Saturday, April 3rd 2021 at 10:00am to honor and celebrate Stafford. Wearing a face covering is encouraged and preferred. Please wear the color red or a heart outfit to celebrate Stafford's life and raise awareness for the fight against congenital heart disease.
