Robert C. Stachurski

Robert C. Stachurski, of Warren, passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 56. He was born April 2, 1964 to Robert and Barbara (nee Thomas) Stachurski in Detroit, Michigan. By trade, Robert was an electrician following in his father and grandfather's footsteps. He in turn has passed that passion on to many family members laying that same path for them to follow. He worked for IBEW Local 58 in Detroit for over 25 years. Robert was a quick witted kind of a guy. He loved to joke around. He was just naturally a funny guy, but it didn't stop at him being goofy. He actually had a book of "isms". If he had a hard time pronouncing an odd word he just made up his way of saying it. Entertaining people was came natural and that was a trait he passed along to his kids. When asked what Robert's hobbies were the response was "basically everything mom liked to do times 10". He attacked every project full force with everything he had and made sure not to hold anything back. The simplest of tasks were turned into major projects and given 110%. He also enjoyed watching Christmas and comedy movies. Not a Christmas season went by that National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Santa Claus or Elf we watched with his family. The laughter and memories made will surely be treasured by all of them. Above everything Robert's family was his pride and joy. He was a true family man and enjoyed every minute, get together and family party. Just being together and laughing and making memories brought him his greatest happiness. So to say his smile and infectious laugh will be missed just doesn't begin to scratch the surface of how much he will be missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Angela of 35 years. Devoted dad of Robert (Sarah), Timothy (Kayla), Veronica and James. Amazing grandfather of Olivia, Juliette and Amara. Dear brother of Linda (the late Paul) McDonald, Deborah Keech, Raymond (Christine) and Edward (Sandra). He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Barbara, his sister, Donna and brother, Dean. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, electrician brothers, cousins and friends. Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. Instate Monday 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10 a.m. at Motor City Church, 3668 Livernois (north of Big Beaver) Troy. **Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all in attendance are required to wear a face mask or face covering.
