Paul A. King

It is with profound sadness and immense love that we announce the loss of Paul A. King, born November 4, 1946, in Mt. Clemens, MI, on June 15th, 2026, in Clinton Twp, at the age of 79. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years; Kathleen, daughters; Heather King, Carolyn (Daniel) Stivers, granddaughter; Ella and his siblings; Marie (Jac) Warnars, David (Sandra) King, Esther (the late Daniel) Cantalini, Ruth (Steve) Lange, and Daniel King. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and fellow parishioners. Paul worked at Auto Alliance/Ford Motor Company for 24 ½ years. He was a proud union member. Paul had an amazing work ethic and made many lifelong friends during his time there. Paul had several passions in life. First, was his family. He was a devoted husband, father/father-in-law and grandfather. His family meant everything to him and his love was unconditional. His granddaughter, Ella, held a special place in his heart. Paul did everything in life with his family in mind. Growing up, he enjoyed baseball, and coin collecting, hobbies he shared with his siblings. Paul also loved reading, especially history books, playing euchre, and bike riding. He relished his daily bike rides around town and chatted with many neighbors on his route. He also shared many good times soaking in the summer sun on the boat with his favorite son-in-law, Dan, and family. You could always spot him on the dock since he was the only one in a flannel shirt. Additionally, he will also be sadly missed by his beloved dogs, Grace, Ren, Paris and Romeo. Paul was an enthusiastic storyteller, something that endeared him to Kathleen’s nieces and nephews, and in fact, most everyone he met. He deeply valued his friendships and cherished the memories made during vacations and life’s celebrations. But above all these endeavors, he was truly a family man. He will be dearly missed every minute of every day. Paul will be instate Saturday from 930 am until 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church 95 Maria St. in New Baltimore, Michigan. Visitation on Friday from 3-7 pm with a 4 pm rosary at the Wasik Funeral Home, Gendernalik Chapel 35259 23 Mile Rd. in New Baltimore, Michigan. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed in Paul's memory to: St. Mary Food Pantry in New Baltimore.
