Patricia A. McNabb

Patricia Ann McNabb 1930-2024 Patricia A. McNabb of Chesterfield, Michigan passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 23, 2024. Patricia was born on September 7, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents Bernard and Mildred Miller. On May 10, 1952, she married the love of her life, William M. McNabb, who preceded her in death on March 21, 2023. She was also preceded in death by daughter Terese (McNabb) Spybrook. She is survived by her daughters, Laura McNabb, Elizabeth (Gary) Smith, Kathleen (Scott) Yoder, Mary (the late Marc) Boyer, like a daughter, Kaye Rocheleau, devoted goddaughter Susan McInnes and son-in-law Thomas (Petra) Spybrook. She has six surviving grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, Gary Smith and his children Gary and Ally, John McNabb and his wife Christine and their daughter Morgan, April Reed-Barton and her daughter Madison, Nathan McNabb and his wife Breanna and their two children Isabella and Jaxon, Kyle Boyer – Keela Leath and their two daughters Mia and Korrine, Tricia Williams and her husband Joe and their two children Jayden and Aniya. She is also survived by her brother Ronald (Therese) Miller. Pat’s greatest joy throughout her life was family, and if you were a friend, then you too were also family. Pat enjoyed a full life with her husband Bill. Their married life was one long adventure. They enjoyed traveling, golf, entertaining, family and friends gathered around the dining table, a raucous euchre game, and wine time. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, “grandma great”, sister, auntie and friend. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading and quiet time in prayerful reflection with the Lord. Pat is already deeply missed. She leaves with one piece of advice, given to her by a dear friend… “Remember Pat, nothing in life ever stays the same”. The family would like to acknowledge the special, loving care provided to mom by her eldest granddaughter, April, a hospice nurse. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Family Service, Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. Instate 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore.
