Estelle Helen Kropp

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Estelle Helen Kropp on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the age of 83 at Henry Ford St. John Ascension Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Estelle was born on July 26, 1941, to Aloisious and Jean Jaglowski (Podgorska). Estelle, also known as Stasia by family and friends, was the loving and devoted Wife to the late William Walter Kropp. They were married on June 2, 1962, at St. Clement Catholic Church in Center Line, Michigan for a long happy marriage of 60 years. Dearest Mother of Bill, Judy (Craig) Houlihan, Dave, and Laura (Mike) Ash. Proud and loving Grandmother of Megan, Daniel, Sean and Savannah. Loving Sister to Rosalie (the late Robert) DePoorter, Betty (the late Mike) Iraci, and the late Al. Loving Sister-in-law to Bob and Pam, Jim and Peggy, and George and JoAnn Kropp. Estelle was a loving and devoted Wife and Mother. She had a love for being outdoors working in the yard planting trees and flowers. There would be nightly visiting during the summers with the neighbors taking turns on each other’s porches. She went on many vacations to Las Vegas with family and friends. Estelle worked many years volunteering at the St. Angela Church Festivals and Millionaires Parties. Over the years she relaxed with taking up cake decorating and ceramics. She was a very dedicated sports fan. She loved and watched the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons. No matter which sport was playing, her most favorite to watch and cheer or yell at was the Michigan State Spartans. Your laugh and smile will be missed ever so much. We will miss your famous words, “Oh Come On. You’re Kidding”. Visitation for Estelle will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 49150 Schoenherr Rd., (N. of 22 Mile Rd), Shelby Township, Michigan. The funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with an 11:30 instate and Mass at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
