Armando "Mundy" DeNardis

Armando "Mundy" DeNardis passed away peacefully on October 31, 2020 at his daughter's home with his family by his side after a wonderful life of 92 years full of great accomplishments. He was born December 5, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan. His family felt fortunate that he could spend this summer and fall with them at their home in Brighton overlooking the lake. He enjoyed his last months with many great moments and able to walk almost till the end. He loved to spend time at his Rose Lake forest property. He enjoyed cutting down trees, being outdoors there and especially sitting by the campfire. He like to play cards, especially pinnacle. He was always on time, which meant being early, for everything. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1992 after 47 years working as an electrician and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Although currently living in Brighton he was a longtime resident of Warren for 60 years. Mundy's family was very important to him and he was able to spend time with most of them even with the COVID 19 restrictions in place. He is now at peace with his wife, Frances and daughter, Gina as well as all his loved ones who have passed on before him. Remember his unusual sense of humor and his hard working ethics. Armando was the beloved husband of the late Frances for 55 years. Loving father of James (Cynthia), Lisa (Charlie) Izant and the late Gina Burke. Dear grandfather of Jason (Becky) Burke, Jaclyn Burke, Nickolas (Andrea) DeNardis, Anthony (Leslie) DeNardis and great grandfather of Isabelle and Abigail Burke; Cecilia and Angelo DeNardis; and Roman and Arlo DeNardis. Brother of Dora (the late Joe) Sirianni, the late Alfred "Freddy" DeNardis and brother in law of Minnie DeNardis. Visitation for Mundy will be Wednesday 2-8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Funeral Service (THAT WILL BE LIVE STREAMED ON OUR WEBSITE) at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. A Final Farewell will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with a procession to Mt. Olivet Cemetery for the committal service. Please keep the DeNardis family in your thoughts and prayers.
