Alice Marie Kozikowski

Alice Kozikowski, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016, with her family by her side, in Henderson, NV. Alice Marie Sobol was born on May 29, 1941, to William and Adeline (Walczak) Sobol, in Chicago, IL. Alice attended catholic schools all her life, including two years at Loyola University, in Chihcago. Alice raised three children, Julie (Randy) Wagner, Peter (the late Michele) Persha and Thomas Persha. She was an outstanding mother, putting a side many things for her children. They never went unnoticed. They are blessed to have her for a mother. In March of 1984, Alice married the love of her life, Gerald J. Kozikowski, together they built a beautiful life for themselves and their children. Jerry is more than a step~father, he is a gift. Alice and Jerry had many adventures, they built a home, from scratch, started two businesses, on opposite ends of the country, and just tried to be happy. They eventually settled in Henderson NV, where Alice retired from the State of Nevada. They had some travels during retirement, a trip to Hawaii was a dream come true for Alice. She and Jerry loved each other a great deal, and were an example for all who knew them. Alice was an extremely kind and generous…She helped many, many people… a lot who didn’t know her name. We ask that everyone help us by showing on act of random kindness to honor the beautiful, kind, loving Alice. Alice is survived by her family, grand~children; Emilly, Ryan, Thomas, Meagan, Teddi and Hadley; very proud great~ grandmother of two great grandchildren, with one on the way. Dear sister of William Sobol. Special sister in law of Arnold (Sharon) Kozikowski, Delphine (the late Frank) Dombrowski and Pat (the late Gene) Kozikowski. Alice will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins and Uncle Stanley Walczak. Alice became an angel and now lives with her parents, Bill and Adeline, her daughter in law; Michele, her sister; Shirley Flassig, and grand ~daughter Katherine, sister in law Christine Corsi and her husband Dario and sisters in law, Teresa Kozikowski and Judith Kozikowski. She will always be our angel in heaven watching over us.
