In Loving Memory of James David Conover, age 66, of Rochester, Michigan. James passed away at Corewell Beaumont - Royal Oak hospital. James, a faithful son, was born on October 23, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles David and Jodean Conover (Nee Hill). Cherished husband of Madeline. Devoted father of Jennifer and Evan Conover. Also survived by three sisters and one brother: Cindy (Marty) Daniell, Betty Lynn (David) Wills, Suzy (George) Dallas and Richard (Laura) Conover. James is also survived by many loving, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. James approached life with a generosity of spirit that touched everyone he encountered. His thoughtfulness knew no bounds, as he consistently went above and beyond to make others feel valued and loved. Whether through a simple gesture or a profound act of kindness, he demonstrated the extraordinary power of compassion. Known for his forgiving nature, James embraced the beauty of understanding and reconciliation. He taught us the importance of letting go and embracing the healing power of forgiveness, leaving behind a legacy of grace that will continue to inspire generations. James was a pillar of love and support within his community, cultivating meaningful connections that transcended the ordinary. His genuine warmth and empathy created a haven of acceptance, where friendships blossomed, and people found joy in his company. Above all, James was a devoted family man who treasured his role as a father. His love for his children was boundless, and he took immense pride in witnessing their growth and accomplishments. The memories of shared laughter, family gatherings, and the love that permeated their home will forever be etched in the hearts of those he leaves behind. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to call him a friend, family member, or confidant. As we mourn his physical absence, let us celebrate the beautiful life he led—a life characterized by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. God must have called James home in heaven to help fix something that couldn’t be done without his help. May James rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave during his time with us. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 49150 Schoenherr Rd., (N. of 22 Mile rd.) Shelby Township, Michigan. In State Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood, Rochester, Michigan. Interment Guardian Angel Cemetery. With a funeral luncheon at the Twin Lakes Golf Course, 455 Twin Lakes Dr., Oakland Charter Township.
